Dermal Fillers

What can I use for deeper wrinkles and volume loss in my face?

For deeper wrinkles, skin tightening, and volume loss, we offer dermal fillers. At SilkeySkinMD we offer Juvederm Ultra and Voluma®, Restylane and Restylane Silk®, Radiesse®, Perlane ®, Belotero® and Sculptra®.

Dermal fillers work by lifting the skin and its structures.  Depending on the area of your face which is being treated and the severity of the wrinkles or volume loss, the correct product will be selected by you and your provider. We will help you select the correct dermal filler which is appropriate for the area of the face which is being treated.

This non-surgical procedure allows patients to come to our office and receive youthful, fuller features in one short visit. This affordable option is incredibly effective in attaining plumper more defined lips, fuller cheeks, deep line correction and scar filling, without the need for cosmetic surgery. Also,we offer more unique treatments such as filler in the tear troughs to remove the look of tired under-eyes, filler in the temple region to correct a hollow look, and perform “liquid facelifts” using fillers.

Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane and Belotero are all hyaluronic acid products, ideal for soft tissue enhancement, while Radiesse is a calcium-based product often used for augmenting deeper wrinkles, cheeks. Sculptra is a product all its own. It is made of poly-L-lactic acid which is the material that absorbable sutures are derived from. Sculptra gives patients a subtle result over time by boosting your own collagen production. This is typically done through a series of treatments spaced several months apart, providing results that last up to 25 months.

Sculptra and other filler injections are a great treatment used in combination with Ultherapy to achieve a lifted, fuller face that has great results that are subtle and natural looking. Although the possibilities are endless, these products are often used to treat some of the following areas:

  • Deep wrinkles from the nose to the corners of the mouth (Nasolabial folds)
  • Wrinkles from the corners of the mouth to the chin (Marionette lines)
  • Thin lips through a lip augmentation
  • Under-eye hollows, or eye trough correction
  • Cheek augmentation
  • Scar correction

Dermal filler side effects are usually mild to moderate, lasting seven days or less, and include temporary injection-site reactions such as redness, pain, firmness, swelling, and bumps. Dermal fillers are not for people with severe allergies
